Properties out here also tend to be on larger parcels with more glass, longer gutter runs and outbuildings, so the work is a different scale as well as a different soil.
Every property along Foothills is on hard well water through the Star Sewer and Water District plus untreated pressurized irrigation off the canal system. The irrigation side is what actually stains glass and concrete: untreated canal water carrying suspended silt plus dissolved calcium, magnesium and iron. A sprinkler head that clips a window all summer builds a bonded mineral deposit, not a film. The same water throwing onto a driveway is where the orange rust fans come from.
