Why new construction windows are so dirty
During a build, your glass takes a beating from the trades. New-construction windows commonly come with:
- Stucco and mortar splatter — little cement flecks bonded to the glass.
- Paint and primer overspray.
- Silicone, caulk, and adhesive from installation.
- Manufacturer labels and sticker residue.
- A fine grit film from drywall dust, sawdust, and grading.

How new-construction window cleaning is different
A standard clean removes dust and fingerprints.
