Two things load this glass. The water feature at the center of the community keeps humidity higher on the elevations facing it, so mist settles on lower panes and dries to a haze faster than it would on a dry lot across town. And Riverstone is still an active build, so there is construction dust in the air from whatever is going up on nearby lots — stucco fines and drywall powder that are gritty enough to matter on new glass still under warranty. The combination is why a hose rinse here looks worse a week later than doing nothing would.

Big glass shows everything, so the method has to be right

Standing water on and around these lots keeps humidity higher than a dry Eagle lot, and the irrigation running the landscaping is untreated canal water carrying silt and dissolved mineral. Mist off the water settles lowest and hardest on the elevations facing it, building a hazy film on lower glass that looks like it needs cleaning again within weeks of a normal wash. Rinsing with water that has nothing dissolved in it means nothing can react with those minerals, and water-facing glass genuinely stays clearer longer than it does after a tap-water pass.

Windows start at $199 and price by pane count, so a house with a two-story great-room wall and a clerestory stack prices above a standard production home — we give you the number before we start, not after. Screens are $50 added to a window service and free once a year on a membership; gutters start at $199. The honest limit: if your glass was done recently and the only thing bothering you is a haze on the lower panes, that is usually sprinkler mineral on two or three windows, not a whole-house job, and we would rather fix those than sell you the full service again.
