Window Cleaning in Riverstone, Eagle, Idaho

Riverstone is a gated community of 268 lots built around a private beachfront Beach Club — white sand, a swim and paddleboard beach, a clubhouse with a pool. The houses were built to look at that water, which means the glass facing it is both the best in the house and the hardest to keep clear.

Built to face the water, and priced accordingly

Lots here run from roughly 5,400 to over 34,000 square feet, and the homes going up on them are current new construction at the top of Eagle's market. In practice that means tall great-room walls, wide picture units and clerestory stacks on the elevation facing the beach club and the water. A house like this has more uninterrupted glass than punched windows, and uninterrupted glass is exactly where streaking and mineral haze show from thirty feet away. Pane count, not square footage, drives the quote — so a great-room wall counts differently than a bank of casements, and we count it rather than estimating.

Beach, lake humidity and construction phases at once

Two things load this glass. The water feature at the center of the community keeps humidity higher on the elevations facing it, so mist settles on lower panes and dries to a haze faster than it would on a dry lot across town. And Riverstone is still an active build, so there is construction dust in the air from whatever is going up on nearby lots — stucco fines and drywall powder that are gritty enough to matter on new glass still under warranty. The combination is why a hose rinse here looks worse a week later than doing nothing would.

Big glass shows everything, so the method has to be right

Tall great-room walls, clerestory stacks and wide picture units are the whole point of a house like this, and they are also unforgiving: streaking or a mineral haze reads across a twenty-foot pane in a way it never would on a punched window. We work upper glass with a carbon-fiber water-fed pole running 100% pure deionized water, so nothing leans on the siding and no ladder stands on a slope. Nothing dissolved in the water means nothing dries into a spot — which on this much uninterrupted glass is the difference between clean and nearly clean.

Lake and canal minerals, and why the rinse water matters

Standing water on and around these lots keeps humidity higher than a dry Eagle lot, and the irrigation running the landscaping is untreated canal water carrying silt and dissolved mineral. Mist off the water settles lowest and hardest on the elevations facing it, building a hazy film on lower glass that looks like it needs cleaning again within weeks of a normal wash. Rinsing with water that has nothing dissolved in it means nothing can react with those minerals, and water-facing glass genuinely stays clearer longer than it does after a tap-water pass.

What it costs, and when to skip a service

Windows start at $199 and price by pane count, so a house with a two-story great-room wall and a clerestory stack prices above a standard production home — we give you the number before we start, not after. Screens are $50 added to a window service and free once a year on a membership; gutters start at $199. The honest limit: if your glass was done recently and the only thing bothering you is a haze on the lower panes, that is usually sprinkler mineral on two or three windows, not a whole-house job, and we would rather fix those than sell you the full service again.

Riverstone Window Cleaning Questions

Still wondering about something? Call or text us at (208) 453-6760.

Our glass was cleaned last month and the lower panes are already hazy. Why?

That is the water feature working on you. Humidity off the beach and lake settles lowest, and if the last clean used tap water or soap there is mineral and residue on the pane for it to bond to. A deionized rinse with no soap leaves nothing behind, and water-facing glass stays clear noticeably longer as a result.

Is the gate an issue for scheduling?

Not if we know in advance. Give us a gate code or arrange a call-ahead at booking and the crew arrives able to work. Same for the January and seasonal visits — we would rather have it sorted once than have a truck sitting at the gate.

Do you use soap on the windows?

No — 100% pure deionized water with no soap at all. Soap leaves a residue in tracks and along seams that attracts the next round of dust, which is why soap-cleaned windows look dirty again faster. Deionized water has nothing dissolved in it, so there is nothing left behind to dry into a spot.

What happens if it rains right after you clean?

Our 7-Day Rain Guarantee covers it. Rain on already-clean glass is mostly harmless — what spots a window is the dust the rain lands on. If a storm genuinely undoes the work inside seven days, we come back out.

Do I need to be home for the appointment?

Not for exterior work, as long as we can reach the glass and any gate is unlocked. Interior cleaning obviously needs access. Tell us at booking whether there is a gate code, a dog, or a preferred arrival window and the crew will not be guessing on arrival.

Is there a contract for a membership?

No contract on either the monthly or quarterly membership — cancel whenever. Members get pricing on every visit, the annual screen clean included, and priority on the schedule. It exists because most people want this handled on a rhythm rather than remembering to book it.
