Old concrete doesn't clean like new concrete

Soft-washing with the right cleaner kills the growth first, then a rinse takes it off. Pressure alone knocks algae loose but leaves the roots down in the pores, and it comes back within weeks.

Between Boise State and Broadway, plenty of the concrete here is not one homeowner's driveway. It is a shared drive splitting two narrow infill lots, an apartment entry walk, a set of exterior stairs, a bike rack pad, or the slab around a dumpster enclosure. Old motor oil that has been soaking into a porous driveway for years comes up maybe seventy or eighty percent with degreaser and dwell time, but the shadow usually stays, and I would rather tell you that now than after you have paid. Same story with melted tire marks, paint overspray, and rust bleeding out of rebar from inside the slab.
