Why Colter Bay Has a Hard Water Problem Specifically

Pioneer Irrigation District and Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District delivers untreated surface water to the sprinklers — silt in suspension, calcium and magnesium in solution. Over a season that is bonded scale; past that it is etching, where the mineral has eaten microscopic pits into the silica and is sitting inside them.
