Most of Eagle irrigates off pressurized district water pulled from canal and surface sources, not off the treated water coming out of your kitchen sink. That water carries both suspended sediment and dissolved calcium and silica. When it lands on a sunny pane and evaporates, the minerals stay behind, and each cycle bonds a little harder into the glass surface. Domestic water leaves spots you can wipe off. Run a fingernail across a dry spot. If it feels like glass, it's surface mineral and it comes off cleanly — that's the majority of what we see in Eagle Hills. If your nail catches slightly, it's early etching and restoration usually brings back most of the clarity, though not always all of it. If the haze is white, cloudy from any angle, and your nail drags noticeably, the mineral has eaten into the glass surface and no product on earth polishes that back to new.
