Canal water, not tap water, is what is on your windows

This is the part homeowners miss. The water in your kitchen sink is treated municipal water. The water coming out of your sprinkler heads in Franklin Village is pressurized irrigation pulled off the canal system, and it is a completely different liquid. What comes off, and what does not

Severe etching, where irrigation has been hitting the same pane for years, has physically eaten into the silica. That is a hole in the glass, not a film.
