How Holiday Lighting Works in Cedars

We supply the lights — commercial-grade LED strands cut and fitted to your specific roofline rather than retail boxes stretched to fit — and they stay our equipment, so you are not storing a garage full of strands. Installation, mid-season service if a run fails, takedown in January and off-season storage are all part of it. Pricing is quoted per roofline after we look at the house, because a single-story ranch and a two-story with dormers are not the same job. With 5 phases recorded, the older streets show it further along than the newest ones, and we price accordingly.

Clipped, Not Stapled — and Gutters First

Every run is measured and cut to your eaves so the line follows the architecture. Strands attach with purpose-made clips onto the shingle edge or gutter lip: no staples, no nails, nothing driven through flashing or fascia. Because lights clip to the same gutter edge that has to drain all winter, we book gutter cleaning before installation wherever a home needs both — an ice dam under a lit roofline pulls clips and strands off with it when it lets go. Being this close to Karcher means the road-facing elevation is always the one that needs the most attention.

The Caldwell Variable

Two things drive this in Caldwell: untreated surface water through the city's own irrigation district, and Canyon County farm dust off the dairy, seed-crop and row-crop ground that still surrounds the city on three sides, plus the harvest traffic that comes with it. Separately each is manageable. Together they bond, and that is the condition we are actually treating on a Cedars job. Cedars routes off Karcher, so getting here is not a special trip.

What It Pairs With

This pairs naturally with gutter cleaning, and doing both on one visit is cheaper than two trips — setup and drive time are most of the fixed cost. It is also better work: there is an order these jobs should happen in, and doing them on separate days usually means doing one of them twice.

Serving Cedars and the Streets Around It

Cedars is on our regular Caldwell route, not a special trip. We already work Madera Way, Redway Ct, Nisene Ct and Ruego Way inside the subdivision. It routes off Karcher, which is how we keep travel out of the price. Neighbours booking on the same day is the cheapest way to do it — we are already set up on the street, so the second and third homes cost less to serve than the first.
