What Grows and Settles on Peregrine Estates Siding

Soft Wash, Not Pressure

House washing is a chemical process, not a force one. We apply a surfactant and sodium-hypochlorite blend at low pressure, give it dwell time to kill the growth at the root, and rinse. High pressure drives water up behind lap joints and into the wall assembly, strips the chalking layer off aging vinyl, and on stucco and manufactured stone it will take the finish off outright. Soft washing kills the algae rather than knocking the top off it, which is why it stays gone longer. We pre-wet and rinse every bed on the wash path. On Peregrine Estates's newer builds the warranty paperwork usually still matters, so we work in a way that will not give anyone a reason to void it.
