What Grows and Settles on Sombra Canyon Siding

Exteriors here collect three separate things. On north and east elevations, where sun never fully dries the wall, you get algae and mildew as a green-black film. Along the bottom three feet you get mud splash and irrigation overspray staining — the same mineral that marks the glass marks the siding, and on light vinyl it reads as a permanent dingy band. Soft washing kills the algae rather than knocking the top off it, which is why it stays gone longer. We pre-wet and rinse every bed on the wash path. Sombra Canyon is on our regular Boise route, not a special trip. We already work N Hwy 55 and N Mount Shadow Ln inside the subdivision.
