Why Neville Foothills Screens Grey Out

Screen mesh is a filter, and here it filters irrigation. Silt carried in sprinkler overspray dries in the weave, and because the mesh is rough it holds far more of it than the glass does. Add decomposed granite off the foothills, plus the winter inversion that traps particulate at ground level for weeks at a time and pollen and within a season the screen carries a grey load you can see through a freshly cleaned window. It routes off Beacon Light, which is how we keep travel out of the price. If you can tell us the nearest cross street we can usually quote without a site visit. Where a property is unusual — a lot of divided lites, difficult access, a steep lot — we would rather come and look than guess.

What This Service Does Not Cover

We clean and reseat screens. We do not re-mesh or re-frame them, and we do not charge for a screen we cannot clean. We are locally owned and fully insured, and we would rather point you to the right trade than take work we cannot finish well.
