Ground-mount arrays and shop-roof systems out on acreage near working orchard rows are a different job: tractor and sprayer dust kicked up along the rows, bird pressure around ripening cherries and stone fruit, and poplar or cottonwood windbreak litter settling directly on cell surfaces where tilt angle can't shed it. We look at array placement relative to the nearest orchard block or canal lateral before quoting, because that's what actually drives the soil load, not the neighborhood name.
Emmett has no surface-water culinary supply — the city draws from wells 380 to 500 feet down, and hardness runs 10 to 15 grains per gallon, hard to very hard.
