Is Soft Washing Safe for Your Siding in Star, Idaho?

Nearly every newer Star home sets a stone-veneer wainscot at the base of the stucco or siding field, and this is the single riskiest spot on the house. That wood is the highest-risk material anywhere in Star: a pressure washer strips old paint, raises the grain, and forces water behind trim that's never been sealed for it, the same failure mode that shows up on historic wood siding in older river towns like Caldwell or Emmett. Soft washing at low pressure is the only approach that doesn't put this small but genuinely older pocket of Star at risk.
