What actually lands on Boise storefront glass

Street-facing glass in Boise collects a specific mix. Traffic film off Broadway, Vista, Fairview and the Connector lays a greasy exhaust haze on anything within a lane of moving cars. Restaurants on the Bench near Boise Airport and Gowen Field take jet soot on top of it. From December through February the valley inversion parks wood smoke and fine particulate at the low point of the bowl, and it settles out as a gray film you only notice when the low winter sun rakes across the front windows around four o'clock. August and September add wildfire ash. Under the mature maples and lindens along 13th Street in Hyde Park and through the North End, aphids mist honeydew onto glass, umbrellas and menu boards all summer, and plain hose water will not lift it. Then there is the part your own operation creates: palm prints, push plates, to-go bag grease and kitchen exhaust haze on the side and rear lites.

We schedule around your service, not ours

We run Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., closed Sunday, and the visit gets built around your covers. For a dinner house that means a mid-morning slot hours before the first table. For a breakfast and lunch cafe already open at seven, it means the dead stretch after two. Downtown, we work the 8th Street core and the Capitol side blocks off the sidewalk with water-fed poles instead of standing a ladder across your entrance, and we do not move guest seating or break down a patio while people are eating. Recurring accounts get the same slot every cycle, so your opening manager stops re-explaining the alarm code and the back gate. When a health inspection, a landlord walk-through or a private buyout lands on you, we hold same-day and next-day slots for exactly that.

Deionized water, no soap, nothing running onto your patio

We clean with 100% pure deionized water and no soap. For a food business that matters twice over. Nothing runs off onto a patio deck, a sidewalk planter or a guest's table, and no detergent residue sits in the aluminum storefront frame waiting to bleed down the glass a week later. The water dries with nothing in it to leave a spot, and the RainShield finish means the next rain sheets off instead of beading into marks. The second reason is grit. Dust coming off the Boise Front is decomposed granite, fine and sharp-edged, so when a server dry-wipes a smeared door lite with a bar towel, that grit is what puts the fine scratches in your glass. Screens are $50 on top of a cleaning, and membership accounts get one screen clean a year at no charge.

Concrete, facades and gutters on the same visit

Glass is usually the first call, but the rest of the exterior is what a guest walks across. Entry pads, patio slabs and the concrete around a dumpster enclosure pick up grease drips, gum, spilled soda and hauler tracks, and that is pressure washing at $0.20 per square foot. Painted lap siding, stucco and fiber cement, common on the newer strip retail out toward Bown Crossing and Barber Valley, get a soft wash at $0.18 per square foot instead of a pressure wand that drives water behind the trim. Gutters start at $199, and they matter more here than most operators expect: the canopy over the North End, East End and the Bench dumps a heavy load every October into gutters that were undersized to begin with, and an overflowing gutter above your front door drips on the people waiting under it.

Insurance, liability, and what happens when it goes wrong

Reflekt is fully insured and locally owned, and if your landlord or property manager wants a certificate of insurance before the first visit, ask and we send it. It is worth being blunt about what a careless exterior vendor costs a restaurant. A ladder set through an A-frame sign. Detergent running under a patio rail during brunch. A crew arriving at 6:15 on a Friday because nobody read the schedule. A dry-wiped storefront lite that now has to be replaced, which costs more than a year of cleaning. So we work from the ground wherever the building allows it, the window work carries no chemistry at all, and every cleaning is backed by a 7-Day Rain Guarantee. If a pane comes out wrong, tell us and we come back and redo it.

Fixed pricing, one invoice, no contract

Window cleaning starts at $199 and is priced by pane count, so you get a fixed number before anyone starts and it drops into the operating budget as a known monthly or quarterly line rather than a surprise. Screens add $50. Memberships come in Monthly and Quarterly, there is no contract to sign, and Quarterly saves $100 per cleaning against one-off calls. If you also want the patio slab washed and the gutters cleared, that lands on the same invoice from the same company, instead of three vendors chasing your bookkeeper on three sets of terms. Running two or three locations across the valley? Tell us whether you want one combined invoice or one per store and we set it up that way from the first visit. Reflekt was founded in 2025 by Hunter Stevens and Ethan Seusy and holds 4.9 stars across 115+ Google reviews.

Restaurants & Cafes — Questions

Still wondering about something? Call or text us at (208) 453-6760.

Can you clean our storefront before we open?

Yes. We start at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and most restaurant accounts take a slot well before the first table. If you are a breakfast and lunch cafe that is already open at seven, we use the quiet stretch after two o'clock instead. Tell us your rush windows on the walkthrough and we schedule around them permanently, not visit by visit.

Do you use chemicals near our patio and outdoor seating?

Not on glass. Window cleaning is 100% pure deionized water with no soap at all, so there is nothing to run off onto a patio deck, a planter or a guest's table, and no detergent film left in the frames. Pressure washing and soft washing do use product, so we schedule that work outside service hours and keep it away from open seating.

How often should a Boise restaurant have its glass cleaned?

For a street-facing spot downtown or on Broadway, Vista or Fairview, monthly is the honest answer, because exhaust film rebuilds fast on a busy corridor. Quarterly holds up for patio places set back from traffic. Either way, plan around the hard stretches: aphid honeydew under the street maples all summer, wildfire ash in August and September, and inversion film from December through February.

What happens if it rains right after you clean?

Every cleaning carries a 7-Day Rain Guarantee. Because we use deionized water with no soap, the glass dries with nothing on it to spot, and the RainShield finish sheds a normal rain rather than letting it bead into marks. If a storm throws road spray or foothills grit back onto your front windows inside that week, call us and we come back out.

Are you insured, and can you send proof to our landlord?

Yes. Reflekt is fully insured and locally owned, and we will send a certificate of insurance to you, your landlord or your property manager before the first visit. Downtown Boise buildings and multi-tenant retail centers usually want one on file, and it is far easier to handle that during the estimate than on the morning the crew shows up.

Do you handle the concrete and the mess by the back door?

Yes. Entry pads, patio slabs, sidewalk frontage and dumpster enclosure pads are pressure washed at $0.20 per square foot, which covers grease drips, gum and hauler tracks. Building faces get a soft wash at $0.18 per square foot. It goes on the same invoice as the glass, and the loud, wet part is scheduled outside your service hours.
