Homes here carry tall glass packages — two-story great-room windows, stairwell glass and wide sliders, usually concentrated on the back elevation where no step ladder reaches. We clean that from the ground with carbon-fiber water-fed poles wherever the elevation allows. Poles keep ladder feet off finished landscaping, out of window wells and off the roofline, and they let us rinse with pure water at height rather than wiping with whatever is on the cloth.
