No, and it is worth being clear about it. Deionized water carries no dissolved minerals, so it leaves nothing behind and stops new spotting from forming. It does not dissolve calcium that has already bonded to your glass. Removing existing hard water staining is a separate restoration pass with different products and a lot more hand time, quoted by severity after we see it.
Sprinkler systems on this stretch were installed and modified one owner at a time over sixty years, not laid out for the whole block at once the way a newer subdivision was. Your neighbor may have low-arc pop-ups set back from the foundation while you have an old impact head on a riser throwing flat across the lawn and into the siding. Same water, same block, completely different exposure.
Wet the spotted area and watch it. Water fills in surface deposits, so if the cloudiness vanishes while wet and comes back as it dries, the mineral is sitting on top and will come off. If the ring is still visible through the water, or your fingernail catches on it under the water, the mineral has eaten into the glass. That damage is permanent, and we would rather say so than charge you to chase it.
