How Holiday Lighting Works in Crossroads

Start with the build stage — Crossroads is a turn-of-the-2000s subdivision, recorded 1994–1999 across 7 phases (ZIP 83642, about 78 acres). We supply the lights. They are commercial-grade LED strands cut and fitted to your specific roofline rather than retail boxes stretched to fit, and they stay our equipment — you are not buying a garage full of strands you have to store and untangle next November. Installation, mid-season service if a run fails, takedown in January and storage through the year are all part of it. Pricing is quoted per roofline after we look at the house, because a single-story ranch and a two-story with dormers and a gable stack are not remotely the same job. Across roughly 78 acres it is remarkably consistent — Crossroads is one job, not thirty different ones.

Measured to the Roofline, Clipped Not Stapled

Every run is measured and cut to your eaves, so the line follows the architecture instead of stopping short or bunching at a corner. Strands attach with purpose-made clips onto the shingle edge or gutter lip — no staples, no nails, nothing driven through flashing or fascia. That matters on newer Meridian builds where the fascia is often a composite that will not hold a fastener and will not close up after one. Working Around Gutters and Ice

Lights clip to the same gutter edge that needs to drain all winter, so we book gutter cleaning before installation wherever a home needs both. A trough packed with autumn grit freezes, and an ice dam that forms under a lit roofline will pull clips and strands off with it when it lets go. Doing them in the right order costs nothing extra and prevents that. Crossroads routes off Fairview, so getting here is not a special trip.

What This Service Does Not Cover

We hang, service, remove and store the lights. We do not do electrical work, we will not overload a circuit to make a display bigger, and we do not install on rooflines we judge unsafe to work in winter conditions. Doing It on One Visit

Most Crossroads customers book this alongside gutter cleaning. Partly that is price — one visit rather than two — and partly it is sequence. Washing walls after cleaning glass puts dirty water back on clean panes, and hanging lights before clearing gutters means working around your own strands in January. We handle the order so you do not have to think about it.
