Screen Cleaning in Champion Park, Meridian, Idaho

Champion Park screens grey out because the mesh filters irrigation silt out of the air. The subdivision sits in northeast Meridian south of McMillan, between Locust Grove and Eagle Road in 83646, and it is platted 2003–2007 across 5 phases — mature landscaping, original windows on most homes. It covers about 101 acres, which is large enough that we route it as its own stop. Settlers Irrigation District supplies the pressurized irrigation on these lots.

Why Champion Park Screens Grey Out

Champion Park is platted 2003–2007 across 5 phases — mature landscaping, original windows on most homes (ZIP 83646, about 101 acres). Screen mesh is a filter, and in Meridian it filters irrigation. Canal silt carried in sprinkler overspray dries in the weave, and because the mesh is rough it holds far more of it than the glass does. Add Eagle Road traffic film — brake dust and diesel particulate carried off the busiest arterial in Ada County and pollen, and within a season the screen is carrying a grey load you can see through a freshly cleaned window. That is the complaint we hear most: 'you cleaned the glass but it still looks hazy.' It is almost always the screen. We see it most consistently on the homes along E OMera St.

Pulled, Washed Flat, Reseated

Scrubbing a screen in its opening pushes the silt deeper into the weave and flexes the frame. We pull each one, wash it flat on a padded surface so the mesh is supported, rinse it through from both sides, let it dry and reseat it in the same opening it came out of. Screens are not interchangeable — a frame that has sat in one opening for fifteen years has taken that opening's shape, and swapping them is how you end up with gaps. It is the single most common thing we get called about in Champion Park.

What We Find and Tell You About

On newer builds the common finds are mesh that was never seated properly in the spline channel, and builder-grade frames that racked out of square during installation. Both are cheap to fix and we will point them out. We do not charge for a screen we cannot clean. Champion Park routes off McMillan, so getting here is not a special trip.

Doing It on One Visit

Most Champion Park customers book this alongside a window service. Partly that is price — one visit rather than two — and partly it is sequence. Washing walls after cleaning glass puts dirty water back on clean panes, and hanging lights before clearing gutters means working around your own strands in January. We handle the order so you do not have to think about it.

Serving Champion Park and the Streets Around It

Champion Park is on our regular Meridian route, not a special trip. We already work E OMera St, N Pankratz Way, N Leslie Way and E Nakano Dr inside the subdivision. It routes off McMillan, which is how we keep travel out of the price. If you can tell us the nearest cross street we can usually place you immediately and quote without a site visit. Where a property is unusual — a lot of divided lites, difficult access, a steep lot — we would rather come and look than guess at a number you would then have to have corrected.

Screen Cleaning in Champion Park — Questions

Still wondering about something? Call or text us at (208) 453-6760.

Why is screen cleaning an add-on rather than included?

Because it is real additional labour — every screen gets pulled, washed flat, dried and reseated. It is $50 added to a window service, which is far less than booking it on its own.

Will you break my screens?

We handle them flat and supported, which is the gentlest way. On screens that are already brittle we will show you the risk before we pull them and let you decide.

Do the screens go back in the right windows?

Yes — they are tracked and reseated in the openings they came from. That matters more than people expect on older homes.

Can you replace torn mesh?

We do not re-screen. We will tell you which ones need it so you can get them redone rather than discovering it yourself next spring.
