On a two-story the upper array sits safely above the spray. On a single-level Trilogy plan there is no such height, so the whole array is within reach of sprinkler overspray, and every lot here runs on untreated Boise-Kuna canal water carrying suspended silt and dissolved mineral. That water dries onto hot glass and bakes on, and each spot shades the cell beneath it. The soiling is uniform across the array rather than concentrated at one edge, which makes whole-array cleaning the sensible purchase.

The Sprinkler Is the Fix Worth Making

Where a head throws onto the array, mineral returns within weeks of any cleaning, so identifying the head matters more than the clean. We point out the offending one at no charge while we are on site. That keeps the job efficient and the quote sensible relative to a comparable array on a two-story. We still do not walk on panels, because point loading micro-fractures cells and permanently reduces output whatever the roof height.

The glassed-in covered patios on these plans sometimes sit adjacent to the array and shade a corner of it in certain seasons, which is worth checking if output is down, because shading is not a cleaning problem.
