Bonito is platted 2003–2007 across 3 phases — mature landscaping, original windows on most homes (ZIP 83642, about 93 acres). Screen mesh is a filter, and in Meridian it filters irrigation. Canal silt carried in sprinkler overspray dries in the weave, and because the mesh is rough it holds far more of it than the glass does. Add Eagle Road traffic film — brake dust and diesel particulate carried off the busiest arterial in Ada County and pollen, and within a season the screen is carrying a grey load you can see through a freshly cleaned window.
