How Holiday Lighting Works in Southern Highlands

Start with the build stage — Southern Highlands is still filling in — the plats recorded 2014–2019, across 4 phases (ZIP 83642, about 79 acres). We supply the lights. They are commercial-grade LED strands cut and fitted to your specific roofline rather than retail boxes stretched to fit, and they stay our equipment — you are not buying a garage full of strands you have to store and untangle next November. Installation, mid-season service if a run fails, takedown in January and storage through the year are all part of it. Pricing is quoted per roofline after we look at the house, because a single-story ranch and a two-story with dormers and a gable stack are not remotely the same job. We see it most consistently on the homes along S Bow Canyon Way.

Working Around Gutters and Ice

Lights clip to the same gutter edge that needs to drain all winter, so we book gutter cleaning before installation wherever a home needs both. A trough packed with autumn grit freezes, and an ice dam that forms under a lit roofline will pull clips and strands off with it when it lets go. Doing them in the right order costs nothing extra and prevents that. At about 79 acres, Southern Highlands is small enough that neighbours booking together is genuinely cheaper for everyone.

Booking and Takedown

Meridian books up through October and the good install slots go first, so earlier is genuinely better — the work itself happens well before Thanksgiving. Takedown happens in January on our schedule, and you do not need to be home for it. If a run fails mid-season we come back and fix it at no charge; that is the point of us owning the strands. Southern Highlands is inside our standard 83642 service area — no travel surcharge.

Booking in Southern Highlands

Southern Highlands is on our regular Meridian route, not a special trip. We already work S Bow Canyon Way, E Mores Trail Dr, E Lodge Trail Dr and E Lodge Trail Ct inside the subdivision. It routes off Amity, which is how we keep travel out of the price. If you can tell us the nearest cross street we can usually place you immediately and quote without a site visit. Where a property is unusual — a lot of divided lites, difficult access, a steep lot — we would rather come and look than guess at a number you would then have to have corrected.

The Honest Limits

We hang, service, remove and store the lights. We do not do electrical work, we will not overload a circuit to make a display bigger, and we do not install on rooflines we judge unsafe to work in winter conditions. Reflekt has been operating since April 2025, which is a shorter history than some of the companies you may be comparing us against. We would rather you knew that up front.
