Holiday Light Installation in Spring Valley, Eagle, Idaho

Spring Valley sits in the same north Eagle build zone as Dry Creek Ranch, which means a good share of the lots around any given house are still open dirt rather than lawn. New construction, tall great-room elevations, and decomposed-granite grit rolling down the Willow Creek and Beacon Light corridor.

Tall new elevations on lots that are still filling in

The finished homes here run the north Eagle pattern: two-story great-room glass, clerestory stacks, and rooflines that change height several times across the front. Those elevations need planned pole work rather than a ladder against fresh siding, and each height change is its own measured cut of commercial-grade strand. The construction itself is friendly — seamless gutter with sound clip purchase, architectural shingle — so the time goes into reach rather than into working around damage. Several finished homes back up to open lots or run the long private drives typical of north Eagle, which affects where the truck parks more than how the roofline gets lit.

Foothills wind and why stretched strands do not last

The decomposed-granite sand rolling down Willow Creek Road and Beacon Light Road does not care whether a lot has grass on it yet, and in Spring Valley most of them do not. Mature landscaping that would normally slow that wind-driven grit is years away on a lot graded last season, so houses here take the full brunt on every west and north-facing wall. Steady wind finds any run with slack in it, and a big-box strand stretched to reach across a long elevation has slack by definition. Cut-to-length commercial strand seated in proper clips is what holds through a season up here, which is a large part of why we supply the lights.

Clips only — no staples, no nails, nothing through the fascia

Every attachment point is a plastic clip sized to your gutter profile or shingle edge. Nothing gets stapled, nailed or glued, which matters more on newer construction than people expect: fiber cement and LP-style trim hold paint well until something punctures them, and a fastener hole in a factory finish is both a warranty conversation and a water path. Seamless aluminum K-style gutter takes a clean clip, so installs on Spring Valley rooflines go quickly and come down in January without a trace. The one thing that does slow us down here is height — two-story great-room glass and clerestory stacks put the peak well past ladder reach — and that is ladder time, not damage risk.

What the number includes

One per-roofline quote covers commercial-grade C9 or mini LED strands supplied and cut for your house, clip-only install, mid-season fixes at no charge, January takedown, and off-season storage with the set inspected before next season. Because the set is cut to your elevation, year two is faster and cheaper in labor than year one, and the lights stay ours to maintain rather than yours to store. The honest version: if you are in one of the single-story plans here with an easy front eave, DIY is a fair call. The two-story elevations with a stacked entry gable are where a ladder day turns into a real job.

Booking window and what happens after the holidays

Book in October or the first week of November. Installs go cleanest on a dry roof above freezing, routes fill by mid-November, and early bookings are lit by Thanksgiving. Late deciders still get installed through December. In January we come back, take everything down, and store the set — inspected and repaired in the off-season rather than discovered dead on the roof next November. Because the strands are cut to your elevation and labeled, the second season goes on noticeably faster than the first.

Holiday Light Installation in Spring Valley — Questions

Still wondering about something? Call or text us at (208) 453-6760.

Will wind take the lights down?

It takes down stretched store strands. Cut-to-length commercial strand seated in clips sized to your gutter or shingle edge holds through the season, and if a section does go dark we come fix it at no charge — coverage that is only possible because the lights are ours.

There is still construction around us. Does that affect scheduling?

Occasionally, mostly in terms of where the truck parks and site traffic on the approach. Tell us at booking if your street is still active and we will plan around it rather than improvising around a delivery on install morning.

Do you supply the lights, or do I use my own?

We supply them. Every install uses commercial-grade C9 or mini LED strands custom-cut to your roofline. We do not hang store-bought strands — a roof in December is the wrong place to find out a four-year-old set has a dead section, and supplying the lights ourselves is what lets us include mid-season fixes in the quote.

Will the clips damage my gutters, shingles or fascia?

No. Every attachment point is a plastic clip matched to what you actually have — gutter lip, shingle edge or ridge. Nothing is stapled, nailed, screwed or glued. When the lights come down in January there is no evidence they were ever up, which is the whole standard.

A section went dark in the middle of December. Now what?

Call or text (208) 453-6760 and we come fix it at no charge. That is part of the job, not a separate service call. Commercial-grade strands fail far less than store strings, but wind, squirrels and one crushed bulb still happen — you should not spend a Saturday diagnosing it on a ladder.

What happens in January?

We come back, take everything down, and store your set through the off-season, where it gets inspected and repaired before next year. No bins in the garage, no untangling next November, and no second invoice — takedown and storage are already in the quote.
